So it's now barely possible to register a 6-shooter in DC. Any legal actions going on related to forcing acceptance of semi-auto pistols? Still seems like disallowing the entire class of semi-autos is a direct violation of the Heller decision.

I don't have a cite, but I understood that they had already modified their ordinance so that ordinary semi-autos were no longer "machine guns" by their definition.
