Just shows you need to be aware of your surroundings especially when purchasing a gun or at the range by yourself.

At 11:15 a.m. on Nov. 9, a man who had just purchased a gun and ammunition at Gander Mountain was returning to his vehicle. As he opened the trunk a black man attempted to take the weapon out of his hands.
The victim yelled and kicked the suspect, who ran past Bed Bath and Beyond toward Task Force Drive.
Surveillance tapes show two black men entering Gander Mountain together, standing near the victim when he was purchasing the gun and then leaving the store before the victim did.
The victim identified one of the black men as the same man who attempted to rob him.
The man was described as a 20- to 30-year-old black man, 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 230 to 260 pounds, with close-cropped hair and a thin beard line on his face. He was wearing a gray T-shirt and blue jeans. The second man was a black man with shoulder-length dread-lock-style hair, wearing a white tank top and blue jeans

I've shopped there a few times, and must agree that you can never let your guard down.
