Hi everybody. I thought I would post this for the first OC dinner in December. I'm proposing Thursday December 4th At 7PM on the Peninsula.

There's a place called Kelsey's Neighborhood Grill on Rt 17. They are a few miles past the County Grill in Tabb. They're at 5922 A George Washington Memorial Hwy.
    Phone is 874-2776.

Almost an hour from where I live. I doubt we'll be able to make it.

    Have fun all!

My bad, I originally thought this was up by Yorktown Naval Weapons Station. That trip takes me about 45 minutes to an hour.

Given some closer scrutiny, it's maybe 30 minutes. Anyone got a link to their menu? I'd like to see their prices and such as on a Thursday evening, we'd have to bring the kids with us if we attended.

They are just about to get their website. I was told that yellowpages.com had a menu but I can't find it.

Uh-oh! I looked online for their menu and read 35 reviews the place has recently gotten. Almost all bad and they generally say the same thing: overpriced, narrow menu and poor service! I've been there a few times for early dinner and got their sandwiches (which they were well-known for in the old location), but if we go there for 7 PM dinner, its going to be a different experience, I fear.

Mark, can we make it Plaza Azteca again? They've always been real good to us.

I didn't want to be a party pooper, but my wife and kids and my wife's mom ate there. They came home aggrevated, complaining about the slow, slow service and narrow menu selection.

Since I will finally be inport and/or not working, I hope to make this dinner my first OC dinner with you all. As long as it remains the 4th and not the 5th I should be able to make it. Hope the wife and kids are up to it.

    Thanks, Mark!

Maybe I should post a review on the same site saying that a big group of open-carriers decided NOT to go to Kelsey's because of the bad reviews. Maybe the antis will then go to Kelsey's instead of our favorite places.

I might make it. I have to pick up a truckload of replacement windows for my parents' place that afternoon, but I might be free in time.

Dutch, I think you should do it. Let them know they lost out on 20+ potential customers due to bad reviews and reports of poor service.

I'll talk with my wife about going. The new location is closer and we both like mexican food.

I will be there this thursday. I have work at 10pm so I will have to leave around 8:30. I may or may not have my roommate coming with me. He does not carry but has been interested in coming to one of these.

This will be my first time meeting the Hampton members as well.

Danbus called today; he said he would be able to make this one.

CRF250, I'll save you a seat across from Bubba, but its your responsibility to keep an eye on your chimichangas during the dinner! Even I get annoyed when I see how much you can eat without gaining any damn weight!

I really don't eat that much! I gained 5 pounds over break that I'll need to work off. I think the stress of this week and next will work it off for meDinner should be nice and relaxing. I have no class after 5pm on Thursday now so I will be on time for this one:celebrate
