We all carry guns, some an extra mag, maybe a pocket knife. What else? Right now, empty your pockets and lets hear what you've got in em on a regular basis. No cheating folks, we're all men, or women, of our word right?

-Leatherman pocket knife (not multi-tool, lol), back pocket

-Wallet, back pocket or front pocket, depending on where I'm at

-~$1.50 in change, front right pocket

-Keys (omg, so many keys), front right pocket

-Cell phone, front left pocket

-Maybe some cash, back pocket

That's it! Not room for much else. I always keep a bag near by, either on my person or in the car, that has a flashlight, spare mag, camera, voice recorder, another knife, and my darts in case I decide to swing by the bar and throw a few :). The bag also holds any activity specific things I might need, like a drink, radio, tools, concealed handgun(s), etc.

Er umm...why do you ask?

Bravo Sierra, Good man. Thinking ahead to what happens after the fight. There will be people in need of medical aid and fast. Maybe even yourself.

This falls under mindset, we're only half prepared for the fight, now be prepared for the aftermath. Get a blow out kit and some first aid training. If nothing else carry a tampon and a tourniquet. Stuff a tampon in a bullet wound or tourniquet an arm or leg. Legs can bleed out long before EMS arrives. This kit a really great kit I found, has the things you need for immediate first aid.

These guys have a lot of great gear and have awesome customer service. Most stuff ships that day. Also if it is on the website, they have it in stock. I hate ordering something only to find out they don't even have the thing.

After the fight is just as important as the fight itself.

I carry that EXACT kit.

<-- GetX'er

I actually carry a $350 loadout in a Maxpedition Pygmy Falcon II from tactical response. I walk most everywhere or take the bus. In Las Vegas... @#$% goes sour very quick.

for everyone who doesn't know: that V.O.K will fit in a BDU pant cargo pocket. add some medical sheers and you are GTG.

-- added afterthought

I saw a T.V. show on cable this weekend called "Code Blue." its on Discovery health.

A 17 year old kid was brought in to the E.R. who had been shot a single time straight through the heart with a 9mm hollowpoint. The bullet severed his aorta 4 timesandhe bled out before arriving in the E.R.

Things can happen that quick.. Now I also carry a chest seal, extra ireali bandages, some celox, etc, and thatprobably wound't have helped in that situation... but I have also responded to amulti-car collision where simply tossing an old man who bit hiswhile flinching on impact helped a LOT.

2 trauma kits people: 1to cause it,1 to relieve it.

Be safe.
