Awesome, although sometimes I feel stuck as well. Just having enough time to work.

I am a dues-paying member of several national and local RKBA organizations, as well as various other organizations and groups. I spend probably too much time cruising the internet looking for alternate sources of information and analysis (the MSM and Fox are not the only ones out there). I try to get at least one letter a week mailed/emailed to my local, state and/or national elected official(s) - sometimes it is just to forward somethging I have stumbled across or someone else sent me, with a short note saying I agree/disagree/think it has merit for consideration as an alternative to the current groupthink.

I do make it a point to volunteer time at every gun show to sit at the VCDL (my state's grassroots gun rights organization) table to recruit members and try to provide information or where to find information to folks with questions and no idea of how to find answers.

I've gotten involved in my county's Republican Committee, looking to be a delegate when candidates are being selected and party platforms are decided. I did that after finding out that less than 20 folks were making decisions for more than 20,000 voters who call themselves Republicans.

In other words, I spend about an hour a day. (We all know what I do during the rest of the time I'm surfing the net. ;))

Most of what I do is during the time cable tv is filled with paid promotional infomercials.

stay safe.

If Lee Iacocca really wanted to light a fire, He would've campaigned for a presidential nomination.. Damn good chance he would've been succesful. All I read was a lot of ranting/venting/raving, which is all I'm capable of at my intellectual level..

The book has been on sale for quite some time now... (I want to say about a year...?) I don't remember the name of it off the top of my head, but it can be found...

" Name me a leader who has a better idea for homeland

security than making us take off our shoes in airports and

throw away our shampoo?"

"Name me a government leader who can articulate a plan for

paying down the debt, or solving the energy crisis, or

managing the health care problem. "
