Doctors

(A) The number of physicians in the U.S. is 700,000.

(B) Accidental deaths caused by Physicians per year are
120,000.

(C) Accidental deaths per physician is 0.171.

Statistics courtesy of U.S. Dept of

Health Human Services.

Now think about this:
Guns

(A) The number of gun owners in the U.S. is 80,000,000.

(Yes, that's 80 million )

(B) The number of accidental gun deaths per year, all age groups, is

1,500.

(C) The number of accidental deaths per gun owner is

..000188.

Statistics courtesy of FBI

So, statistically, doctors are approximately
9,000 times more dangerous than gun owners.

Remember, 'Guns don't kill people, doctors do.'

FACT: NOT EVERYONE HAS A GUN,
BUT ALMOSTEVERYONE HAS AT LEAST ONE DOCTOR.

Please alert your friends to this alarming threat.

Wemust ban doctors before this gets completely out of hand!!!!!

Out of concern for the public at large,
I withheld the statistics on lawyers for fear the shock would cause
peopleto panic and seek medical attention.

Obviously we need to outlaw and confiscate doctors. Especially "assault doctors", you know, the ones with a prostate grip.

As many as another 90,000 people die in hospitals each year through negligent care and outright medical error. I suspect many of these are included in the doctor deaths already mentioned.

So we have both assault doctors and assault hospitals.

This has been around for a long time and I have tried to re-create the statistics from government data, but I have not been successful.

It is funny, but un-substantiated.

Yearlydeaths from automotive accidents have been around 40,000--give or take--for several decades.

That settles it then.

We Must ban automobiles!!!!!!

Oh God, please no. I absolutely love to drive my driving machines (as opposed to "point-A-to-point-B cars).

Well, I estimate that every year 12,326 Americans are killed with firearms. I also estimate that any given MM organization is at least 800k short of their name. My made up stats are as good as their made up stats.

I think we should start MOC-U, Million Open Carriers United

My doctor wears his stethoscope openly around his neck. I'm afraid it's going to "go off " on me. Those thing are always so cold. I sure wish he would conceal the darned thing. I would be less apprehensive...you know, I would "feel" safer.

I sure hope that they don't start a petition for Open Practice.. Can you imagine the horror of seeing doctors practicing in the streets? By the way, does anyone ever been to a doctor on 'game day' as opposed to 'practice'?
