These numbers are irrelavent. I understand what is trying to be said... But medicine isn't an exact science, not yet. Too many intangibles. I'm studying to be a physician now... And I will carry when I practice medicine... Does that mean that my probability to kill will decrease???

Haha, what would happen is guns were as expensive as being a physician (school, insurance... etc), or being a physician was as cheap as a gun? How would that affect the numbers?
