I found this site a few weeks ago, I am a traveling sales rep that I have CC'd for about 4 years now, There is a policy against OC on the books that I am not up to challenging, so when I am off work I have been OCing, I am from the Flint MI area and have OC'd for about 3 weeks now, just everywhere you go normally restaraunts, Drs office, Wal MArt., Sams Club which by the way is the only place I have any incident, While I was OC I was having a slice of pizza and a Grand Blanc township LEO was escorted to my location by a Sams club employee, they had a conversation about 30 feet from me that I did not hear most of, But I did hear the officer explain to the employee that there was nothing he could do, I was not breaking the law, and when I broke the law for him to call him back, I was never approached by either the LEO or the Sams Club employee. I have shopped there since with no problems.:)



I had a conversation while CCing with a Dearborn Heights police officer and he was misinformed and said he would share the site with his Chief, I am not here very often while off work so I am looking for someone that has had trouble there.



Keep it up, I am a believer now so I think everybody should OC

Welcome to OCDO: I have lived/worked around the Flint area for over 40yrs. I have oc'ed in Flint for the last 4 yrs....... never had a single challenge. Glad to see you are comfortable/confident enough to oc. I / we tend to stay away from oc vs. cc....just exercise your rights and carry.... periond. We promote oc but do not condemn cc. I hope you continue to do so without incident.

No problems in the Heights for Me. Several Neighbors and Myself OC in the neighborhood, walking the dogs, yard work, passing out halloween candy on halloween, Heights police have driven by on several occassions, slowed and looked, but kept going. Of course for the next 4 months our neighborhood OC will probably be snow blowing and shoveling snow.

I have had this happen in AZ, but never here in Michigan. It's absolutely wonderful to hear that at least some cops in Michigan are that up to speed to where they didn't even approach you. Simply spectacular. A big congrats goes out to each and every one of you who has worked to see us this far.

Yup, it is good to hear when LEO react like this. The same thing happened to me at Fire Mountain. County PD walked in, talked to the manager, and walked out. I was pleased.
