Woodbridge man facing six charges

A Woodbridge man was arrested on multiple charges Tuesday after Prince William County police responded to an assault complaint.

Eddie Arthur Thompson, 38, of 5028 Leatherback Road in Woodbridge, was arrested and charged with assault and battery, brandishing a firearm, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number, possession with intent to distribute cocaine and possession of a firearm while possessing schedule II narcotics.

The incident occurred Tuesday around 4:10 p.m. in the 5000 block of Leatherback Road. Thompson is accused of assaulting a family member during an argument.

The victim, a 33-year-old woman, was treated at the scene for minor injuries. Further investigation revealed that Thompson was in possession of handguns and drugs.

Thompson was held without bond and has a scheduled court date of Feb. 9.

Teen charged with possessing weapon

A 14-year-old Dale City boy was arrested Nov. 28 on charges of possession of a concealed weapon (metal knuckles), providing false identification to a law enforcement officer to avoid prosecution and possession of tobacco by a minor.

The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. in the 2700 block of Potomac Mills Circle in Woodbridge. A patrol officer observed a suspicious activity and stopped to investigate.

After being arrested, the juvenile was released to his parents. He will have a hearing in the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court.

Man arrested for unlawful entry

Albert Arthur Timbers, 42, of no fixed address, was arrested for unlawful entry Nov. 29 around 3:50 p.m. in the 7800 block of Meadow Court in the Manassas area of Prince William County.

Timbers is accused of entering the victim's residence without authorization. Timbers was held on $2,000 bond and has a court date of Jan. 30.
