By the time they knew what was happening, it was already too late.

As long as there isn't an executive order I think we have a decent chance of stopping extreme anti-gun legislation in its tracks in time. I'm relying on organizations in the know like the NRA to notify me, and then I'll take it from there, writing letters and stuff.

In the meantime there are lots of Americans to introduce to firearms use and ownership to. We'll need all the allies we can get.

Given where Bush has left us on executive powers, I wouldn't count that possibility out.
