It would be cheaper to mail a bullet, but I wonder if the recipient would get the wrong idea?

...I wonder how much a 1 ftsection of 2x4 weighs, anyway...

In as-cut lumber, 12'' x 4'' x 2'' = 96 in^3 = 0.056 ft^3 Pine is about 30 lb ft^-3, depending on species and moisture content, so ~1 2/3 lbm.

Further, '2 x 4' is more usually dimensioned lumber = 1-1/2'' x 3-1/2'. So a 12'' piece would weigh less, being only 63 in^3, about a pound.

Doug did some good math there. My best guess is 1.25 lbs. I reached that estimate from reading the link where it states that it weighs 1.25 lbs. :p

How about mailing spent shell casings? I go to the range every week, and "spend" a box of .357 mag. That'd be a year's supply of "message tokens".

The cost is estimated at about $10 bucks a week. Please read that entire thread thats posted.

NO shell casings, thats not what we decieded to do.

Just posting this as to inform as many people as possible that want to stand up for their rights.

Thanks

I wonder if some of our elected officials would like a wall plaque to hang on their wall in the office.

Oneof a 9" No-C-Em bullseye target with a tight grouping of 6 to 8 bullet holes in the center. Add a tag that reads: "The only real "common sense" form of gun control. Anthingelse is unacceptable."

If i was an elected official and I got 10,000 ft of 2x4's or so, being the Pro 2A guy that I am, I would probably build something back home in my district to remind people of my stance on gun rights.

If I get elected next year make sure you get me on the list. I would love to see the truck back up to city hall and dump all these 2X4's in the lobby so the anti gun, anti constitution city council and president can see the people in action. I'll take em and build the Second Amendment Cabin in the park or something. :celebrate
