My passenger was from out of town and wanted to know what they were and I told him they were nuclear reactors for the new power plant.

He went bat@#$%. He raved all the way to U.S. Air about how he was going to call his congressman and see about that.

Sometimes it is just too easy!! :celebrate
Nuclear power is secure power.

Apoplexy works as well as lead poisoning.

OH MY GAWD!! Is that a cigar?
No, it's a face-hole assault device. And it pollutes our air and water! Pay no attention to my tie-dyed VW microbus that burns more oil than gas....

Zoom,I will up my offer for your RPK to $300. That's a lot more than you have into it! ;)

Nice guns!
My RPK actually cost me $372 to build, not counting cost of any mags. Had it been possible to bend my own receiver, I could have saved another $110 (including transfer fees). The RPK has a bulged trunnion, so I couldn't bend my own. If I could only keep one of my AK's this would probably be the one.

The prices have indeed gotten insane but hopefully while come back down once the Chicken Littles realize that the sky has not actually fallen. I'm sick of these "yes there will be a ban" folks, they've already conceeded the field. I just saw a Yugo M70AB2 (of which I built a copy for $350) sell on Gunbroker for $2351. And it was a Century built gun with a visibly canted front sight block.

Saw that on ARFCOM and almost threw my hat in the ring. When I went to the safe to see who would be sacrificed to the financial Gods, I realized that each and every one was unique and impossible to replace. I'll probably shoot myself for not doubling my investment, but at least it'll with Soviet 7.62x39!:celebrate

It's a PSL (often sold as Dragunov in the USA, but not the same). They are both very accurate, but the Nagant gets much tighter grouping at 100 yards (maybe .5" MOA better). I can put more rounds down range faster with the PSL, though.

I would have a very tough time parting with either. Neither are easy to come by nowadays.

PS: did you notice where she is aiming in the pic in the pic with the 1911???:what::what::what::what::what::what::what:

If I was liberal... i'd be very upset over that non-PC red/blue/black hand print. Where's green? yellow?

racist.

As long as we've got them riled up, why not post some more pics?

Here's a few of my "commie gun" collection. The AK's are all homebuilts.

Zoom6zoom, I really like the look of the SKS(?) you have 4th down from the top. Did the wood come in that light tone, or did you refurbish it?
