Anyone ever use or see in use a ultrasonic cleaner? Anyone have any info on how to build one?

Yes. I have used them in my professional life and at home.

If you have to ask how to build one then you probably don't have the skills to build one because they use single purpose components like the magnetostrictive transducer.

The one I used at work was a 5KW. I use a tiny jewelry cleaner at home. I have considered a larger higher power unit from Harbor Freight that frequently costs ~$200.

They have one at my gun club. Never used it, but they say it's fantastic. As far as building one, haven't a clue. As Doug mentions, Harbor Tools often has good prices on stuff like this.
