My younger brother is in town and my father wants to go shooting with him. So the 3 of us will likely go shooting but would prefer to go outdoors.

I know that there are several places that have been mentioned but hunting for them is difficult sometimes. I am in Henderson... where would be a good place to go shoot rifles, shotguns & pistols outside?

We set up a map over at NevadaShooters.com

The map is freely editable, so if you know a good spot, you can add to the map. Instructions on how to edit are in the second post.

Find a dirt road and head out until you're free and clear of structures. 1000FT for shotguns and 5000FT for rifles and handguns. I typically choose a place where I can fire pretty much directly into a mountain side to reduce ricochets going to God knows where. As long as you don't cross into Private Property (clearly marked with gate or fence or signage) and you aren't too close to dwellings, you should be left pretty well alone.

I'd love to give you more specifics, but I live in Sparks. :celebrate
