No suspects reported in afternoon shooting in Norfolk

NORFOLK

Norfolk police are investigating a shooting that took place this afternoon on the 800 block of Tidewater Drive.

Police received a call at 1:45 p.m., said Norfolk police spokesman Chris Amos.

When they arrived, they found an adult male with a gunshot wound, Amos said. The man was taken to the hospital, and his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Police have no information about possible suspects, and are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting, Amos said.
