Just got this from the city in response to an email i sent.


Thank you for bringing this to my attention. We are reviewing options on amending the city code to separate and preserve the general dangerous weapons provisions while correcting the firearms restrictions. I'll send you a copy of the proposed ordinance.

i wrote back and asked if PD would be informed via training until the change is made. got this back. I'll see if i can get a copy of it....

A bulletin was issued earlier this afternoon. I expect the amendment to the city code will be on the city council's agenda for January 14.
