I currently have a Gunvault 2000 Deluxe model. It's nice, but I don't like to rely on batteries. When the battery is weak the door sometimes doesn't open. That happened after about a year of use with about 2-4 openings a day. As long as you remember to change the battery in advance, it's fine.

Anyways, just looking for an alternative.
