Subject: VA-ALERT: Urgent Pre-Lobby Day Action

----------------------------------------------------------------------
VCDL's meeting schedule: http://www.vcdl.org/meetings.html
----------------------------------------------------------------------

VCDL has set up an online petition to Repeal the Restaurant Ban on
concealed carry in restaurants.

http://www.petitiononline.com/VCDLrtrb/petition.html

We want to let the Legislature AND the Governor know that Virginians
WANT this absurd ban repealed!

Even if you can't attend Lobby Day, you can make your voice heard --
sign the petition.

Spread the word. Post the petition link on blogs and discussion forums.
Get your friends, family members, and shooting buddies to also sign
the petition.

I see that the president of Cease Fire Maryland signed it. Nice.

If I go the the Cease Fire Maryland web site, my virus scanner goes off the chart.

Anyone know what this group is all about?

If I recall Cease Fire Maryland WAS an anti-gun group, which somehow lost its name and legal existence by not filing property taxes. As such the name was quickly taken over by a pro-gun group, which essentially did a "Gotcha!" job on the anti-gun group losing its name and legal status.
