Mana???

I have no problems with the AA G26 kit. It works great for me. You just have to follow their ammo requirements, so buy the 550pk of "golden bullets" at Walmart.
Yes, good point. You need to use the "dipped" bullets. I initially used someRemmington ammo that was recommended on a printed handout that came with the AA kit. The bullets were plain lead. After about 100 rounds, the gun got real squirely. It took me a lot of work to get the built up lead out. Works fine now. The same handout said that Federal ammo was likely to not work well. As I said above, I've never had ANY problems with the Federal ammo in the bulk pack from Wwally World. They are the "golden bullets".

What I am talking about is these:

Not poorly priced at Walmart and they work perfectly in the AA kit, as well as other .22s I have tried, such as a 10/22 and a Walther P22.

I didn't mean to imply that Federal were the only "golden" or dipped bullets, just that you should avoid any plain lead bullets because the barrel builds up with lead very quickly and it is very time consuming to get it all out.

Just put 200 rounds of the remington golden bullets through it with no problems at all. Had a little talk with the women at walmart that I didn't have to be 21 to buy .22 ammo:cuss:She called other employees over and we all educated her on the laws. I did tell the guy that I was buying them for my Ruger 10/22 which is half true:p

I've seen her shoot before at NRA she did very well as I can remember. I do need to adjust my sights right out of the box it was making me shoot a little left. Just need to take a screwdriver next time:lol:

this gun is reported to have a billion problems according to people on youtube

this gun is reported to have a billion problems according to people on youtube. Many people say the gun was flawed in design and has a ton of ftf problems due to the design of the gun. I really don't know if its true but its just a heads up before you buy one.

.22 cal pistols

Do you really have your heart set on a Walther P22?
If you're looking for match-grade accuracy, find a S&W Mod 41 (I prefer HB over the 7" long barrel).
For one almost as accurate, and not nearly as finicky about ammo (it eats EVERYTHING),
Ruger 22's are right for the price. You still see lots of them on the line at Camp Perry (the National Matches are held there every year).
If $$$ is no object (for rich college kids that drive BMW's and other fancy cars), find a Hammerli or Pardini.
They drive tacks at 50 yards. The downside is their pricetag. Their pricetags almost always involve a comma.

Guys, this thread is almost three years old. He's already bought it.

That being said, I hope your P22 hasn't given you as many problems as it has others.
