Take a look at this. My 4 year old had to bring things that start with the letter G to his preschool. I said take that, not knowing that they had a no toy gun rule. My wife explained the rule to me, and I assumed that since this didn't even look like a firearm it would OK. WRONG! My little boy came home with a letter from the teachers telling us that Ryan continues to make toy guns out of LEGOS and play cops and robbers, and this makes the other sheep in the class feel threatened.

Really? So they're telling me that the police are a bad influence? Now my son doesn't want to go back to school because he's afraid he's going to get in trouble. All this over a pop gun. And I actually pay several hundred dollars a month for him to go there. Now I'll have to stare that nose ring wearing, Birkenstock sporting, ideallistic little bitch of a teacher that he has in her smug face every time I take him, and I'll know that se made my son hate going to school.

What would you guys do?

When I was in kindergarten, My grandpa came to school with all the parts we needed to make PVC Pop guns. We each got to decorate them how we wanted.

We then spent all day running around playing cops and robbers with our pop guns.

And now this? I'm only 22, this wasn't forever ago that I was in school, it was in the 90s (well, 1990). :banghead:

This needs to be stopped. If children are SO afraid of a pop gun, what happens when the REAL cops come into school for the drug-resist program? Are they all going to literally be scared to death?

You obviously missed my story about being removed from class, all day,in KINDERGARTEN over bringing a neon orange, see-through, shaped nothing like a real gun, squirt gun for show and tell.

Have you had a talk with the teacher or whoever is in charge? No gun (even toy gun) policies are almost universal in schools now, but getting in trouble for playing cops and robbers really crosses the line.

I'd say you have a future gunsmith on your hands!!

I'd say it's 100% the teachers predjudice, the kids are being programmed by these "in most cases" left sided mentors into thinking anything that resembles a firearm is "(BAD)" Heck i'd bet if the kids were interviewed by the principal, most of em would probably discount the occurance as "(it was just a toy gun)" Next time send him with a butter dish full of Rabbit entrails, and he can tell the teacher that "G" is for Guts, none of which you have!!

Even better yet, when the day comes for "W" show and tell, send him to school with everything imanigable that can be used as a weapon except a gun, and maybe that will be yhe day the teacher learns something..

The real problem is that anything that is done by the parent that irritates this teacher will be taken out on the child. While I know money is tight for people right now, but I would consider moving the child to a different school where they teach values more in line with the OPs views.

Slightly off topic - but still guns at school.

What do they do at for track meets at schools now?

Don't they start each race with a starter's gun?

Just askin'

That is precisely the intention. Scare them young, scare them for life. Anyone who does not show the requisite fear and deference to the men with guns must clearly be a threat to national security.

Exactly!

According to my son, one of the boys keeps telling him that he's afraid of the cops and that cops are bad. He's one of the other teachers' kids. Those statements don't go unpunished. I tell my boy to look that kid in the eye and tell him "that's not true!" I am not a cheerleader for the police, but they serve a purpose and have no reason to scare any little kid... unless their parents have something to hide that creates animosity toward the men in blue...

Making toy gun out of legos....yep, we did that in school and didn't get in trouble for it. I am almost 37 so it was a long time ago.....Wow...I really am getting old. Times are changing.

Can't believe that something that looks like that toy was banned too. What about candy canes? Suppose kids started playing guns with those? (we did that too as kids) Guess those will be put on the ban list also.

Don't forget your pistol finger. It's probably banned too.

.40 cal: The kid who's afraid of the police, has anyone in his family been in trouble with the law ? My college roommate's mother was schoolteacher. Some of her students were afraid of the police. (They were afraid because they came from troubled homes and were taught to fear the police by their criminal parents/guardians.)

"zero tolerance" policies (on anything) serve only to remove the responsibility of those in charge to make decisions that someone might hold them accountable for. A refuge for cowards.

Was he trying to be the cop or the robber?

A member of my familyis a teacher and is just about sick and tired of the BS that the school system forces down the teachers, and kids throats.

You must go on the attack !!!

Your child and You are being attacked.

Turn it around and go on the peaceful yet very strong indignant offensive.

As another reply said here make dam sure you expose this woman as a "cop hater" as this is the perfect example of the kind of person these people hate, they will lie about it when nailed down in public but they do have a jealous envy which breeds inner fear of LEO's.

LEO's epitomize good guys with guns.

Opinion Rant Below: tune out if you dont like a rambling stream of consciousnesses type opinon.

ALL liberals are sheep and sheep are not as brave as a man grounded in logic and God, ( logic will suffice for you atheists) however they are dangerous because they have a dark side a deep resentment of masculinity that they don't even recognize.

They are easy to hypnotize, they can easily be brain wash / indoctrinated into forgein ideoligies and into thinking they are doing right when they are acting out of a coinditioned emotion respoce to destroy society.

Women specially are susceptible, men; you know that women tend to think with emotions and many times lack objective logic.;)

I know many conservative outgoing attractive women, women who are independent and healthy who have told me from there own mouths that quote: "we women should not be allowed to vote, we are too emotional and easily swayed to vote for the bad guy ala Clinton".

Most teachers in grade school and high school are female, they are susceptible to the illogical and emotional appeal of liberal socialist and anti moral ideologies.

That is why you see mostly feminine men who are liberal, that is because they had no good strong yet kind father to be around and roll model, fully converted males become liberal and feminized males almost always become liberal who have a downloaded female identity a jealousy & fear of masculine good men.

Little boys need to be around good strong loving real men 90% of the time. Momma is good so long as she is 2nd in command and does not try to raise you boys, that is Dads job, Daddy is 1st in command, the military knows this to well that you cannot have 2 Generals giving counter orders. If not then you will lose you boys to women and there illogical and emotion driven lack of common sense.

( That is NOT a dis on women, just the truth about "most" of them NOT all of them)

Sad but true sometimes you need to take matters into you own hands with a liberal who has any sort of contact with you children and have a private "Nose 2 Nose" I wont dare tell anyone what to say in a private situation, but overwhelming strength through conviction is the key

Many times you can even re-program/ convert a liberal thru the shock of your own strength of convictions overwhelming there senses, to an outsider it looks like you are berating them.

Marine Core drill instructors know that you need to break thru the outer silly ego shell. Psychologists know that you need to break through the hypnotic conditioning and get into the subconscious to free up or in extreme situations to re-establish the proper priorities.

Lok she is not gong to be fired for this stuff it is endemic and rampant , but some one has "got to" this women and someone need to "get into her head" and makle sure she is controlled as she is out of control.

She has no objective consciousness that guides her emotions and warped logic and so she is in my opinion mentally ill, and liberals think that YOU are mentally ill.

Sir, if they are our child's teachers they will start to make our kids doubt that we are good guy's and that we are right, this liberalism / socialism is very infectious stuff.

Micheal Savage, altho I don't like his anger based ranting, He is right on when He wrote a book called "Liberalism Is A Mental Disorder"
