to alert everyone of what the current most serious threat to our 2A rights is at the moment and what to do (who to contact) about it.

Right now, I would say that this would be the Eric Holder nomination, so the scrolling banner (large enough to catch the eye) would read something like "DEFEAT THE HOLDER NOMINATION! HERE'S HOW", which, when clicked on, would give people the link to click on for the GOA alert ( http://gunowners.org/take-action.htm ) it would also urge everyone to both FAX and PHONE their Senators (in this case) by giving them THIS link: http://www.theorator.com/senate.html as well as the FAX and PHONE numbers for the Committee involved (if it's IN committee, of course) like: http://judiciary.senate.gov/contact.cfm

We need the same scrolling banner on every single PRO-2A website we can talk into doing it. Pete

Good idea. There has to be some way that all the forums can get together. Unity will be key for sure.

    NO WE DON'T!
Moving crap on a computer screen annoys the heck out of me and seriously distracts my reading.
Perhaps if you would use a real computer you wouldn't have to apologize for not being able to do so many things on the internet!

I dont think it is that bad of an idea although I am sure the VCDL alerts will take care of this as well.

As far as moving crap being annoying I agree but look at the ads and such they are going to be there for funding if for no other function so why not have one that is functional other than funding.
