THREE MAJOR GUN BILLS TO BE HEARD MONDAY AFTERNOON!

The House Courts of Justice Criminal subcommittee is going to hear
these three bills tomorrow (Lobby Day):

HB 1655 - Delegate Carrico - puts teeth in preemption so localities
can't keep illegal gun bans on their books.

HB 1821 - Delegate Johnson - repeals the restaurant ban on carrying
concealed in restaurants that serve alcoholic beverages.

HB 1822 - Delegate Johnson - allows CHP holders to carry concealed on
K-12 school property.

The subcommittee meets 1/2 hour after the House Floor Session
adjourns, for those who want to attend the committee meeting. Best
guess is that this should be sometime between 1 PM and 3 PM.

Already done earlier this evening. Also sent an email to VA Senator about voting against SB 1166 (Senator Watkins), a bill to increase the guntransfer tax by 150% to $5 per gun just to keep alive the obsolete and redundant Virginia Firearms Transaction Center. Unfortunately I will be flying to TX tomorrow and will not be able to attend Lobby Day. Give em hell for all of us.
