I had heard most of that before, but the childproof guns thing is a new, although unsurprising, point on his gun control agenda. Anyone here researched the Tiahrt amendment? What are the odds of it getting repealed? And am I mistaken or does it already allow trace information for law enforcement in conjunction with a specific investigation?

That is identical to the statement that was on Change.gov immediately following the election, and identical to the statement that was on websites before the election.
