On January 26, 2009 Democratic Virginia State Senator Creigh Deeds, one eye on the Governor’s mansion, and the other eye on the TV cameras, cast the deciding committee vote to advance a bill to ban private gun sales at gun shows in Virginia. . . . In the end, Creigh Deeds poked gun owners in the eye and sold the gun ban lobby a pig in the poke.http://tinyurl.com/d3bvhp

And water is wet. It is rare to find a dem who aspires to State or National office that does not go weak on the Second Amendment.

Hopefully, the backlash at the polls will be a Tsunami!

    Interesting article, quite good.

Also interesting was the little piece in the upper right corner about our very own Mike getting his JD in May. Juris Doctor, doctor of law.

Oh, jeez. Now its gonna be, Dr. Mike.

Crud, now we're going to haveta act all respectful and everything.
I'll make you an offer: I will argue and fight for all of your rights, if you will do the same for me. That is the only way freedom can work. We have to respect all rights, all the time--and strive to win the rights of the other guy as much as for ourselves.

If I am equal to another, how can I legitimately govern him without his express individual consent?

There is no human being on earth I hate so much I would actually vote to inflict government upon him.

It's still has to be passed in the Senate and House. There may still be hope that it dies.

Perhaps the people want to tell him "loser" instead. He might be less confused.

Just as I am writing to the McDonnell, I'll send a note to Deeds about the former gubernatorial candidate who pissed on VCDL and promptly lost the election. It's amazing what 3,000 activists can do working for you. It's also impressive when they work against your election, just ask NRA approved Kilgore.
