The Lords of Fairfax can't be bothered to protect 2A, go after DC gun laws, oppose Holder.. Etc...

But they have the time and resources to start up a wine club?

Don't be stupid and don't let yourself be fooled by these "great promo deals" I'm sure they are buying these "worlds finest wines" in bulkfor $4.99 a bottle and then sell it to members for the "discounted" $12-$15. This is just another money raising technique which i have no problem with. Wine manufacturers they are usingare probably 2A supporters and supply wine with no mark-up to support 2A and promote their brands at the same time. NRA gets the markup to spend on their programms, and yes, to fight anti-gun lobby no matter what you guys say. Its a win-win. I really have a problem with all NRA-haters here - dont get me wrong, i'm not thrilled about the way they compromise some of the rights away, but you have to understand that they are the most powerful thing that stands between our gun rights and all anti-gun politicians. Let them do what they can - don't donate if you don't want to, it's your choice. If you think that 2A protects anything against liberal politicians, you are just naive. It's powerful lobby groups that matter in DC, so you better pray that NRA stays strong...

Oh geeze. If I get invited to some frou-frou wine and cheese party by the NRA (and I am a member) I plan to show up with a bottle of Thunderchicken and a vox of Velveeta. I had no idea I had joined the National Reisling Association.:banghead:
