My girlfriend bought "District of Columbia v. Heller: An Anatomy..." for me to read. I'm halfway through it, and I am impressed. It's a really great insight into the whole process, from the initial suit brought by a group, to the court of appeals, through the case in front of the supreme court. It is full of footnotes and references, and gives both sides of the argument. Definitely worth reading.
