I remember seeingan insane spike in gun sales right after the Messiah :)banghead:)got elected and how quickly counters got cleaned up from anything high-capacity or black and evil. I havent been in any gun stores since december and i was wondering how is availiability now. I imagine since The One :)cuss:)didn't ban all evil guns first day in the office and didn't make any moves in this direction yet, things got to be a little calmer now. Is that true or not?

Not true. Just flip to CNN once and you'll likely hear them blabbering on about "assault weapons" and how "they should be banned". From what I hear, the media did the same thing, to create the climate, for the '94 ban before that one was passed.

Regardless, we have a government entity (whitehouse.gov) calling for a permenant AWB and other gun control. The threat is real for sure, the debate is the level of the threat.

Stopped by the Camp Elmore MCX this morning....the firearms selection looked like a fox had run through the henhouse....very, very few long arms, and no reasonably priced pistols. Looked at a nice Sig 1911, but the $990 price tag helped motivate me to hit the door. Didn't notice any ammo on the shelf either. Lady at the counter said they were having quite a difficult time keeping stock in. I responded "I can't imagine why"...

I was in VA arms today and saw some EBRs on the wall. Did not look at the price. Walked out with a G26 to keep my G19 company. That was the only 9mm Glock they had in stock.

The dealers will have a bunch of them at the Chantilly show.

They will be overpriced by $400 - $600.

The panic-stricken northern Virginia types will pay without reservation.

Availability of EBRs has been minimal, we've been getting on average just a few a week if any, but they do come in and selling as fast as they do. However it's not just EBRs in short supply, ammunition and many common handguns are in the same shortfall.

If you can find a few new Colt black guns, please let us know.
They had a bunch of AR-15's at the gun show in Fishersville today. I saw a few that said Colt on the box but I didn't look super close.

I've had issues finding ammo but not much else. Well, lowers seem to be hard to find and decently priced AR-15's. For the most part other than ammo I haven't had any problems finding much.

I'm a lefty, so I had to order (in December) an upper from Stag. They told me I could expect delivery sometime in June! Seems any uppers they are making are reserved first for complete rifles.

I dont think much has changed. I think people see how quickly the Chosen One has pushed through so many liberal agendas that most rational people realize that its just a matter of time.....

My dad went to Bob's, Bass Pro and Green Top yesterday and said he could barely get to the counters.
