At last, I was able to get the information.

1.) It will be held on March 7th (Saturday) @ the Red Lion Hotel at the Park.

2.) Open carry is accepted, in fact encouraged. If you have a single action rig this would be the perfect occasion to wear it. There is a "western" theme this year.

3.) Because of state law, the days of meal tickets and raffle tickets being included in the Sponsor packages is gone. Instead they have built meal packages with raffle tickets included. ( See Flyer) The meal packages are not tax deductible.

4.) There are sponsor packages available, with the 250 dollar Liberty package being the most popular. If you would like info on a higher priced package, PM me and I will get it to you. Be advised because of WA state gaming laws, there are no meal tickets or bucket raffle tickets included. Those will have to be purchased seperately. 75 dollars of this package is tax deductible.

5.) For anyone who wants to purchase a meal package, please use the form that is linked/attached and mail your money to them. That makes it much easier for them to build the packets for you to pick up the night of the banquet.

6.) If you only want event/meal tickets, I have a few available. PM me and we will work something out.

7.) There is an early bird option, if tickets are bought prior to 2/15 your name will be entered into a drawing for a Escort 12 GA Marineguard Security System. (See Flyer)

The way the banquet works is pretty straight forward. There will be games available for different guns, usually cost either 10 or 20 dollars. As an example, there is often a cartridge game. There will be 100 cartridges, each engraved with a number, which ever number is called the person who has the matching cartridge will win the gun being offered. Most of the gun events run 20 dollars.

Along with raffles (games) there will be a quite a bit of donated items placed on tables with a bucket in front of them. You will have the opportunity to purchase the bucket tickets. When you see something you would like to take a chance on (a gun) you drop a ticket in the bucket. Towards the end of the night the buckets are pulled and a ticket is pulled out, if it's yours, you win.

I would think a person could have a decent time with 100-150 dollars to play the games and buckets with. Of course, just showing up and eating dinner and mingling with like minded people is more than acceptable. You don't have to spend any extra money to enjoy yourself.

There is also a silent auction and a live auction, which you only have to play if you want too.

We don't want you to think you have to spend money to come, just showing up and supporting the rights of fellow citizens is more than enough.

I am hoping to get enough OC people to fill two tables (16 people). I already have 10 people so we only need 6 more to fill the second table, if needed we will take over another table.

If I missed anything, or if you have any questions, please PM me or send me an email to bob_8251@hotmail.com .

The money raised by the FRNA banquets is used to further the shootng sports locally. One half of the money raised stays in state and the rest goes nationally. This year there were over 60 grants locally totaling over 260,000 dollars. Some of the grants were to the Spokane County 4H Shooting club (6683.00), Spokane Rifle Club (4500.00), Spokane Boy Scouts of America (4748.00) and Colville Valley Sharpshooters 4H shooting club (12420.00). So while the NRA-ILA is focused on politics, the FRNA is focused onadvancing the sport of shooting.

Here is the Gun(s) of the year. These will be raffled off, probably by purchasing a 20 dollar chance using 2-3 decks of cards. If the card drawn matches your half, you go home with two new pistols.

Ruger built 1125 of these sets for the NRA this year.

Oops, cost of event/meal ticket alone is 40 dollars. It is taking close to 36 dollars a head for food and facility.

Thank you for doing all of this BobR.

Now do we need to buy through you in order to get at the OC table? Or is it really just sit where you find a chair style?

If we have to go through you I would like to do an aluminum package and you can just PM me details on how I would get you payment.

Thanks.

No need to go through me. Just use the form and send your money off to the address provided. Try to do it before 2/15 so you are in the early bird drawing.

I will have a placard on the tables designating them as OC tables so we can all be at the same place.

It would be nice if people who do use the form to purchase packages post here so we know how many people will be there.

For people who only want the dinner/event tickets, I have a few and I will sell them directly. If you need any, please PM or email me.

So far I have 9 for sure counting you, David, and another 1-2 possible. So far that is at least two tables.

thanks

I am out of town and will not be able to attend. Sorry, I would if I could. Do you think you have enough pamphlets Bob? If not, we could probably raise a few quickly.

Now that we're getting closer to it, I believe that I'll be comletely childless that afternoon. Once I talk to the ex tomorrow to confirm and after Ibudget for all the bills due next week (been laid off all year), I will PM you about a ticket, Bob. ...That is if there's still gonna be room at the OC table. Though I've yet to meet any of you guys, I feel I kinda know ya'll from lurkin around the forums for the last year. Also wondered if anyone was interested in an OC outing prior to the dinner on that day.... if I'm gonna drivedown there, I might as well do somethin first. A shoot maybe?

surf,

Between mine and yours that you gave me we have close to 900, that should be plenty.

boom,

I think we can find room for you. If all you want is just a ticket, I will hold onto one for you. I was giving them back due to lack of interest. We should have enough people for a couple of tables.

Is there a range or shopin Spokane that has a try b4 u buy type of thing, because I wanna shoot a G17, 19 or whatever else I can get my hands on, really.... 33 round mags may very well be a thing of the past, soon. Also need a good rifle b4 hunting season, so I'll be trolling around here and theretrying to make up my mind in regards to that purchase.Really should be checking out the pawn shops,I guess...
Sharpshooting does rent firearms, but we try not to send them any business due to them not allowing OC.

The other 2 shooting range choices are the Spokane Gun Range + the Spokane Valley Gun Range.

The valley range opens at 2pm and is $5. It is basically just a really long field with a hill on the back. No ammo or targets or anything, privately owned land.

Do you pick up the tickets you ordered at the door?

We are getting down to the wire here. We will only be selling tickets until nextWednesday (March 4th).

We are also getting very close to the cutoff numbers wise to stopping sales, so if you plan on going, and need to decide, it needs to be done very soon now.

Last post on this for this year.

Ticket sales will be cut off on Wednesday. We have right at 500 people with tickets now.

If you didn't make it this year, put it on your calander for next year. The first weekend in March.
