I want the same gun rights the Vermont citizens have.

People always have the government they deserve, and we technically deserve the harassment we have from Michigan politicians and police. OCing and other activism is the key to bringing about change. Until that job is done, we are indeed lesser citizens.

Activism is the key to bringing about change.

Try, every day, to talk to one person about your political views, and gun rights. You don't even have to change their mind on an issue. Just plant the seed of truth in their mind. There is so much FUD being spread about guns that if you can help one person realize they have been lied to all this time it goes a long way.

You might not get the change you want, but it is change nonetheless.

I have done it myself and with others.
I brought to the attention Genesee county parks preemption and it took a year for them to change. All parks in Genesee County. Now accept CPL/CCW. Open carry I'm not sure they accept it yet BUT they do know it is legal.

Bishop Airport work for two year to rescind and remove no Gun sign on the doors. I talked with the officer in charge twice twice I was escorted by his hand on my coat out the front door and threatened with arrest. If I returned. Second time he said I was disturbing the peace. I looked around ( we were in the street at this time. ) and no one was in sight at all. Who are we disturbing, no one is here and beside you are the only one talking loud and calling names. Finally the sign came down.

Genesee county office building No courts in this building, No Guns signs posted. I have talked to the attorney three times and she says to me. Yes I know there aren't legal. Well the still remain to this day.

I bring it to the attention of many people all of the time.

Regardless if they know its legal or not, Open Carry is legal in the park.

County park + State Operated = Legal Open Carry.

YOU are right . If though one speaks at a public meeting challenging any untruths in a public meeting one gets heard by more than one ! Not everyone is good at everything so some have to step up . Nice to speak to employee but even better to sit and converse with boss .

I understand that.

Many of us do not have the where with all to stand up and face verbal or real conflicts. That does not mean we/they are not supportive in many other ways. Some can contribute just moral support, others financial support, and yet others no support and for many very good reasons.

In the last two or so year I have seen great changes in the positive pro gun movement in Michigan. I'm sure more is yet to come. Thank you to all of you that are working on it in front and behind the seans. I think that our common goal is the Vermont regulations or the lack of should I say. And ASAP.

As a born and life resident of Michigan for 66 years, I have seen our freedom eroded to nearly enslavement. One can hardly do anything without permission from the Government, pay for a permit to do or taxed after you do it.

What have we brought upon our self's in the name of peace, freedom, safety, and you fill in the hundreds of other (in the name's of __________).

Every time we win back what is our to begin with. We get confusion, miss interpretation, out right lies, more forms, other regulation to explain the changes, exception for the exempt class of special people and another fee.

Think of the money and manpower the state could save with Vermont 's lack of regulations. What would you spend your money on if you didn't have to pay close to $300.00 on fees.
