Ruger P-series. Can be had for under $400, and they are a brick house with a trigger. They'll eat everything you feed them and beg for more. For the money, there IS no better .45 on the market.

I would put my P97DC against any other .45 in a torture test any day of the week.

The 45acp modelsare 220and GSR, iirc.
