Ok, first thingis HR 45. If you have not read it, please do. http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/z?c111:H.R.45.IH:

Basically the government gets control of all gun owners. Permits to even own a gun. Owning a gun in your house makes it interstate commerce which allows Feds to control all the specifics of ownership. Applications go to the Attorney General. Rediculous stuff like that that would not pass in normal circumstances. With the current government, all bets are off.

Now, for the better thing. State Sovereignty. A bunch of states are claiming it and New Mexico is not on that list. My question is why? These states are claiming sovereignty using the tenth amendment and claiming that current and proposed laws are in violation. I believe that HR 45 would fall under the same circumstance, so it might be the way to go to put the feds back in their place. Heres a good link (Read all the way, its near the bottom of the article)

Tell everyone who would support State Sovereignty to tell their reps to put something like this in as well. I know that its a leftist state, but so is Washington and see what they wrote in theirs (its linked in the article above)

You're correct. Dunno what theNM Constitution sez relative to RTKBA, but AZ is clear and specific on that... 'shall not be impaired'. 'Many people are unaware that states even have a Constitution... or what the 10A is about.More products of the gummint schools.

    Ryan,

I live in Cloudcroft, NM. Contact me by email at perfpartz@yahoo.com

I would like to discuss measures we can take to get NM to declare sovereignty.

    Michael
