What can anyone tell me about a hi-cap Paraordnance .40? I've no experience with the brand.

Paras are very good quality. I have a Para-Carry and am in the process of getting a P-18 for my wife to shoot. Here is an article about a world record set last year with a Para.

Any gun that can do that is OK with me.

I bought a ParaOrdnance Hi-Cap .45 LDA the day after Christmas and I love the thing. It shoots very nice and is very accurate. Not sure about the .40, but it should be pretty much the same quality wise.

I would bet my safety on any Para in production.
