A big "THANK YOU" to all who served. I was a civilian initially hired by the German Army (Bundeswehr) to act as a liaison between German and American troops in talks to return American bases to German ownership right before and after the Wall fell. Most of my time was spent in and around the Coleman Kaserne, in Gelnhausen, Germany. Then my job morphed again and ended up spending most of my time out in the field training Americans and Germans in the fine art of Survival (FM-76 type skills) and traveling Germany completing reports on inactivated facilities. I met many people from all branches and have nothing but the utmost respect for those who served.

Once again, thank you.
