Will OC Change CC Laws?

I recently garnered an interest in getting OC in Texas, but I had a question for someone in the 'know': If OC is legalized in Texas, will CC become illegal or will both be legal and at the gun holders discretion?? One thing that I do not want is for CC to become illegal! CC is my prefered method because I don't like anyone knowing I have a loaded weapon on me, whether it be someone who wishes me no harm or someone who wants to harm me.

I've done a few searches but they have been inconclusive.

There are some, of whom i am one, that think that the legalizing or illegalizing of OC is beyond the governments control and that the only thing that they "might" be allowed to do is regulate concealed carry. The thought being the we are all free to keep and bare arms...not keep and hide arms. With all that being said I HIGHLY doubt that OC will negate CC. That would be a first in the country i believe.

so you're saying in other states where OC is legal, CC is legal was well??

Here in Arizona, we have licensed concealed carry, similar to Texas. We also have unlicensed open carry. The 2 methods complement each other.
