I've never thought of that either...of course, I'm sort of new to guns, so there's probably a lot I haven't thought of.

I'm thinking some vaseline would travel with the cartridge (as it goes up the ramp) and would then "contaminate" the chamber. I don't think that would be good.

I'm not sure what one would be trying to accomplish by putting vaseline on the feed ramp.

And the reason I ask is because I had 1 missfeed, and have no dremel to buffer with felt tip, wondering if some sort of lube would work just as well.
