Basically the point of this thread is to get some ideas going on how to attract new members to OC.org and ways to get the word out in public. Now I know that OCing in its self is one way to get catch the curiosity of the mind and start conversations. But we really need to start coming up with ways that we can get more of a public outreach.
I was just thinking today that I know there are a lot of uninformed people around like where I live and thought to myself "how can I get these people informed". So I thought of this thread. Small towns need education just as much as the larger ones. Now here is the chance to post your ideas and use others ideas and maybe put them to good use in your own town/city.
IMO I think that the more we get the word out and educate people, the more everyone will start getting used to seeing people just walking down the street with their pistol(s) on their hip or under their arm. Therefore we would not have to be so worried about the dreaded LEO having a bad day or the uninformed LEO's. Because face it everyone although sometimes the encounters can be bad and sometimes become even worse, we would all like a society where we can all OC if we want and no one would even think of it. They would simply think of someone carrying their gun just like someone carries their cell phone, pager, purse etc. So let’s get on the ball people and start putting our minds to work and get the ideas rollin'.
