    March 28th willow lake event

I met this morning with Manu and Irfner to continue plans for the March 28th meeting here in Seatac at the Willow lake apts.

I want to thank Manu who has agreed in effect to have Dino's Resturant cater the event. His support is un wavering. So if any of you have a chance to have dinner at Dino's please do the atmosphere and staff arewonderful and the food exemplary. He also gives a discount on your bill if you are open carrying.

Others are donating some cash to help out.If you wish to get involved contact myself or Manu.

This is about OCDO supporting a local community,we are doing this for the the residents,as well as OCDO.
    March 28th willow lake event

We will have drawings for dinner for 2 certificates, 50 dollar Safeway grocery gift cards,Free coffee gift cards, and others.

Chris who owns theCafe Valle Espresso stand on pacific south of 208th will be donating the coffee gifts and will be bringing the helium baloons for the kids.

I intrduced Irfner and manu to the Safeway manager who reaffirmed their support in donating sodas, bottled water and other snacks etc.

Elements of the Seatac police dept are behind us and will try to attend.Officer Reynolds and indicated he will be by.

Also Angle lake Locksmith across the street said we could use their parking.

We will in the next couple of days be putting together a press release ,OCDO supports residents where last mo. shooting took place.sort of theme.Could use some help with that.I would like to get the media to cover it.

So folks this event is growing wings ,I hope as many will attend as we can get.We will post updates as we go along and thanks everyone............

You got me for the 8th, gonna try to make the 21st shoot, and definitely going to be at the 28th BBQ. I'll bring my "gopher" for the trash pickup.

A Mosin with a bayonet sounds perfect for the trash pickup!

Some folks have been asking about the forms that are needed. One form is just a log sheet of everyone who picks that day and is filled out at each pick. The other form is a one time thing & requires the last four of your SSN ( to separate you from all the John Smiths). It is used in case there is an accident you are covered by the state L&I insurance (full medical). You can download the form and bring it with you or I will have some on hand.

Th sections we will be working on has 2 interchanges and wide grassy areas.

I am all for a day that works for everyone. We could do a litter pick up and later that day do a OC meet.

The Ridley Report (New Hampshire forum) asked me to get some video and pics on our next pick up. You can check out his site on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/user/RidleyReport and his website: http://ridleyreport.com/

I'm also trying to get with the folks in the video department at the Seattle Art Institute to come out and do some filming and interviews with us if at all possible.

For those thinking ahead to the impending weather. If we have snow on the ground then the event will be canceled and rescheduled. For those wondering if there is snow on the ground check out this link:
    http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/traffic/taco...allupriver.htm

If the ground is white event will be canceled. Questions? PM me for my cell number, for those of you with my number feel free to pass it along to those who don't.

The ground is turning white here in the south end so I am gonna call this for today. If anyone wants to get together for a impromptu OC meet, I'm up for it.
