Anyone OC in the Richmond area? I'm close to the border and OC when I go to Wal-Mart. I'm curious as to whether or not we have any other OCers in the area.

I am originally from Richmond and personally know quite a few of the police officers that serve there. I have only ever open-carried in Richmond once, but with no problems. It is one of those towns that has a classic rural mindset and is generally more accustomed to seeing firearms.

I think you'll find most all the police officers in Richmond to be well-versed on current gun laws and openly accepting of civilian sheepdogs like yourself.

I don't think you'll have a problem.
