Not really sure why that is so shocking. Just a blow hard cop spouting B.S.
Before I get the LEO flame turned up on me, I am not saying all cops are B.S. spouts. I am just saying this one is.
Might want to look up some Nevada court case precedents where open carry in a holster was deemed by the court to be non-threatening. I know Washington state does, that is very clearly worded, that a holstered firearm is not brandishing, threatening, nor breaching the peace.
I will make this blanket statement regarding all LEO's though... don't ask them for legal advice or interpretation of the law. Neither is their job.You wantthe lawyer/prosecuting attorney/judge side of the duplex for legal advice and interpretation.
It really doesn't matter what you will be harrassed for/arrested for/charged with. What really matters is what the district attorney is willing to prosecute you for and your chances of winning against prosecution. I have never been harrassed by a cop, but certainly don't fear it.
