OK...I want to make sure I 100% understand this, since being 1% off is what leads to arrest. Please correct any details I might have wrong, but here is how I understand Car Carry in AZ:
1. You MAY Carry fully loaded
2. If Gun is holstered, it may be ANYWHERE in vehicle (Visible or not, on my belt holster that a Cop might or might not be able to see from his vantage point, under the seat, etc).
3. If Gun is NOT holstered, it must be plainly visible (on passenger seat, on dash, etc), in glove box, or map pocket.
4. As I'm reading the laws, an unloaded gun have the same requirements that a loaded gun does for car carry.
5. As far as long guns are concerned, I'm understanding that it can have a loaded magazine, but not 1 in the chamber, and can either be concealed, or not.
As earlier stated, please correct me on any details that I might have in error.
