Nice article. I am in my 'senior' years and think of this very thing should I become unable to retain my facilities.

Also.....it seems my doc has me check into a hospital for tests. Often.:shock:

If it is just routine, I remain armed. If I have to be sedated, I stop at the check in and have security meet me. They take my weapon (unloaded), count the bullets and record the SN.The weapon is then taken away in a bag and I'm given a receipt.

IF.....your hospital doesn't allow weapons of any type......you may still check it in at security....most places.:dude:

that's good to know. I've been looking and looking for some NM laws pertaining to hospitals and oc/cc. I never have seen any signs and it is private property. I'll have to ask the security the next time i'm in the area.
