So, I was in Oregon most of the past 5 days and heard yesterday there was a shooting on Tuesday in Pullman.

Can any of the locals enlighten me?

Pullman suspect arrested after shooting someone with shotgun
PULLMAN, Wash. - One person is in police custody after a shooting in Pullman near the Washington State University campus. Police say they got a call at 12:28 Tuesday morning from someone reporting shots fired at Providence Court Apartments. When they arrived on scene, they did find someone had been shot at that location.
The victim was transported to a hospital a head injury after police say he was shot, by a shotgun, in the head at close range. He is expected to survive the injury.
The suspect, Lewis Lawrence, was found a short time later in Moscow, Idaho, that's just across the Washington-Idaho border. Police tell KHQ he will have to be extradited to face charges in Pullman, Washington.
KHQ was live in Pullman Tuesday morning and will have advancing coverage, including new video and sound from Pullman's Police Chief tonight on KHQ Local News at 5 and 6.
