I just posted that link a while ago in my moved holster thread but here is the other link from a shooting on Wednesday a couple blocks away.

Personally if I go anywhere at night in Norfolk and I'm not getting out of my car I carry. I HATE not being able to conceal because I absolutely cannot afford to have an encounter with the police.

I don't know there guy, since Danbus has paved the way how could you "NOT" afford to have an encounter with the police. Unless they actually shoot you or something I'm still waiting to hear how many zeros there are going to be in his lawsuit.

    Already hit the comments section.

So much for the much media hyped "gun buy backs" making the streets safer. Perhaps Norfolk police should patrol the parking garage instead of arresting the same lawful gun owner over and over again.

CRF250rider1000's reasons for not being able to afford a police encounter have to do with his age (too young for CHP) and certain family issues, so I can understand what he means.

Reading this makes me glad I carried down there this weekend, even if I didn't carry inside the hotel. I wasn't at all far from all this, and thinking about it now makes the hair on my neck stand up.
