Email to my Senator. Does anyone know who is on the Judiciary 1 committee. The NC site says that is where it is currently. Would love to know and send more emails.

Here's the email I just fired off to EVERYONE involved:

Senate Bill 664 (Safe Storage of Firearms) – NO[/b]
[/b]
This bill is yet another attempt at un-lawful infringement of our Second Amendment RIGHT.[/b]
[/b]
I would like you to OPPOSE it (and any LIKE bills) at every opportunity.[/b]
[/b]
This bill is totally un-necessary – people impacted by a LACK of this bill still have the CIVIL courts to seek redress of injuries against the actual gun owner involved.[/b]
[/b]
The parts that are the worst are the parts that involved the “gun-lock”/”separation of weapon-and-ammo” aspects.[/b]
[/b]
A weapon that is un-loaded or trigger-locked is totally useless in a self-defense/home-defense scenario where [/b]àSECONDS[/b]ß count![/b]
[/b]
Also, I’d like to take this opportunity to ask you to help move and SUPPORT both House Bill 269 (Concealed Handgun Permit Valid in Parks) AND House Bill 270 =S235 (Personal Protection in Restuarants).[/b]
[/b]
Please feel free to contact me if you care to discuss this further – and thank you for your time.[/b]
[/b]
(Signed)[/b]

I just sent an email to my representatives expressing my sentiments on this bill. Let's hope for a repeat of the 2001 defeat of this piece of "legislation".:cuss:
