Hi all,

I've been lurking here on the boards for a while and have read just about every post in the Louisiana section. There's some great stuff and I've learned a lot. I started OCing about a month ago, primarily in the St. Tammany parish area in Folsom & Covington, and sometimes in NOLA where I work. I'venot hada negative encounter (or any encounter)with a LEO and have only had a few people give me a second look while carrying.

Anyway, I saw this article the other day and thought I'd pass it along. It deals with cop attackers and their weapons. One of the statements I found interesting was: "Researcher Davis, in a presentation and discussion for the International Assn. of Chiefs of Police, noted that none of the attackers interviewed was "hindered by any law--federal, state or local--that has ever been established to prevent gun ownership. They just laughed at gun laws."
