While he's not purely pro-gun, I think he would make an all around good president. Jesse Ventura. Yep, that's right. He's considering making a run in 2012 if there's enough support. It seems to me that he's somewhere in the middle ground, though his few positions that aren't 100% pro-gun would be fairly moderated by the 2nd amendment and the federal position he'd hold. Anyhow, here's a link to some of his views on the matter. http://www.ontheissues.org/Celeb/Jesse_Ventura_Gun_Control.htm

No AWB, no gun registration. Not totally in agreement with him on all of his other viewpoints, but I'm leaning his direction anyway...it would really be nice to get someone honest and straightforward in the white house for a change.

I think that only some of the third-party candidates would seek to eliminate current gun control legislation, the rest of the candidates from the Republican party would just hold the line and not seek to destroy it further. Democrats are hard to predict. They have some serious antis in power and I know they would just love to stick a finger in our eye at any available opportunity.

If I wascompletely a one issue voter pertaining to the 2Aand had to vote for a Republican, it would be Ron Paul or SarahPalin.

Bobby Jindal, and Sarah Palin. Just me sayin it but I think they could win. Either one on the top of the ticket would work. I think that both of them have the principles and fortitude to keep our freedoms IAW the Constitution. Just me sayin it tho'

Palin because she could win? Vote for someone GOOD, not someone who "can win". It's this lesser of two evils can win voting that's contributing to the situation we're in today.

How about a Sarah Palin/Bobby Jindal ticket? John McCain is too old, RP will soon be too old. God willing, we can roll back gun control pre 1968 levels; beginning in 2013.

If we work to make it happen, it wll happen!

Fine, all good lads. But FIRST JOB is to get at least ONE house of Congress under Republican control and NOT RINOS!! Out of 2010 will come the warriors of 2012. Look at how the DemonRat Antis are talking, listen to them closely and you will see they are VERY much aware of this. 2010 is the Battle of the Bulge and no BS. Did anybody see the video of our so-called "President" BOWING TO THE KING OF SAUDI ARABIA!!!!????? hAVE YOU NOT HEARD HIM APOLOGIZING ALL OVER HIMSELF FOR OUR GREATNESS??? My Gawd. The man publicly fantasizes about a world without nuclear weapons (which would be great but unfortunately..........) and I am waiting for him to suggest that instead of fighting, we each send our brainiest guys to play chess and settle it that way.. Such are the fantasies we all entertained as third-graders, and here we have the MOST POWERFUL MAN IN THE WORLD mouthing them to friend and foe alike as viable solutions to the world at large. We do NOT HAVE until 2012. We need to throw a check on this yo-yo YESTERDAY. 2012 my eye.

Alot of people don't seem to understand that this isn't a Republican or Democrat issue, it's a civil liberty issue.

If a republican is anti-gun, that doesn't make him better than a pro-gun democrat.

regardless of their political affiliation, if we wish to to keep our RTBA, we gotta vote for someone who does not have a history of flip flopping or compromising on any sort of gun control.

I'm going to vote for whoever has always had a pro-gun stance and never "compromised" our 2nd amendment rights, like Romney.

Whats sad, is Liberals SHOULD be the biggest supporters of our 2nd amendment rights, but the majority of modern Liberals are Social Liberals and not Classic Liberals.

I wouldn't vote for someone simply because they claim to be "pro-gun". That is not good enough.

I have to point out that with a majority of both houses plus the White House, it is pro-gun Democrats who are holding the line against more gun control.

I would like to see the GOP return to the majority, but not the weak, GOP-lite of 1998-2008. In the meantime, it's more important to support pro-gun Democrats than milquetoast Republicans.

Well, yes it IS true that pro-gun Dems are holding the line. BUT a Democrat majority means the leadership, who are almosst all what I call DemonRatz, hold all the chairmanships and - this is important, seeing what being required to appear before Congress can mean - control the power of subpoena. As I have said before, these "Congressional Hearings" tend more and more to look like tthe People's Court;; and not Judge Wapner's either, bud rathjer Judge Friesler's.

Would you rather be led by a intelligent socialist or a dumb pro-gunner?

Palin is in the top 3 for pro-gun candidates. If you care about the 2nd amendment and pro-gunner on the ticket, that's where my vote would go.

Sorry, but my eyes are open enough and my head is pulled sufficiently far out of my ass that I can realize that niche issues like pro or anti gun are the least of our worries.

Ask the good people of Utah. Romney sold them out during the Winter Olympics.
