Is there a magazine capacity limit for CC?

The Op could use a G22 mag equipped with a mag sleeve install a Arrendo mag extension, that would get him 20 rounds be within the law if he doesn't have a permit and it is less bulky.

Whoops, my dolt brother left his name signed in on the work computer:banghead: I do have a CC permit... 30 rounds is heavy though

My H&K USP 45 barely fits in the fanny pack with standard 12 round mags... so I just carry 2 extra ones. I think 36 rounds should be sufficient to get me out of most trouble spots. Sure beats 21 rounds when I had a single stack 1911...
