Yeah, I'd lump Rush Limbaugh in with that crowd too. ;-/

Somehow I'm guessing that you didn't even read the article and just thought you'd make what you thought was a clever cheap shot at some one you probably don't listen to. I'd certainlylike to hear how Rush fits in with pirates and terrorists?

Hostis_humani_generis

or Hostis Genaris Humani (General Enemies of Humanity) was the title conferred upon Pirates in the 18th Century by the English jurist Blackstone. This title is also fitting for Islamic Jihadi's of whatever stripe or flavor. It was again used to describe the NAZI's on trial at Nuremburg.

Amazing how y'all go off on some tangent rant (against Limbaugh)... attacking the messenger.

Well, the messenger in this case pretty muchasks forit. Price you pay for a being a party lapdog.

Best I can say for him is that he's a self-made success and, now that his idiot republican president is out of office and Limbaugh's on the attack against the other side's idiot, his show is almost interesting again. He does have a sharp wit.

I did read the provided link and failed to see any connection to Limbaugh whatsoever. That said, I've long thought him afool and don't apologize for taking a "cheap shot," although the half-smile ASCII graphic thing might have suggested I was not being entirely serious. Clever? No, and not meant to be. It's about as "clever" as when Limbaugh used to crack himself up at the mere mention of Hillary Clinton's name. I do not listen to him, but have listened enough to know that I have no interest in listening to him further. I suppose that makes me "closed minded" or something. No matter. I doubt you listen to the BBC either. To each his own. If this is a "tangent rant" then you lot are all perversely oversensitive. Or did you imagine that I was seriously accusing him of piracy, etc?

Seems to me there are some people here who are just steamed that Rush is right 99% of the time.

A party lap dog? There is the opinion of a completely uninformed person. Quit reading Media Matters as it is a complete liberal hack site that always and purposely gets everything it reports wrong to smear anyone who strays from their liberal ideology.

If you don't listen to Rush, and only take the little snippits that are reported by the MSM, you'll get a completely wrong picture of the man.

I'm not going that far either. In the realm of ideas, Rush is usually right, but too often he has stuck by the Republicans when they were in the wrong. (i.e. Support of the Patriot act lock stock & barrel even though there are parts of it that he would have flipped over if it had been Clinton or any other Dem in office) Far too often did he act like "Yeah the dog got into the garbage, but at least it was my dog(R) & not the neighbors(D)" Well, there's still garbage all over the floor.(Government)

That's the kind of thinking that has lost him some of the people on the right.

You say that like its a bad thing. Capitalism and a relatively free market made this country great.... looser liberal thinking they could control the market and capitalism have brought this country to it's knees.
Ooh, you're stho sthensitive! Three words and you have heard so much more than was written. It is called tinnitus, the roaring in your ears heard when you read beyond your comprehension - of three words!

Maybe if you could write using proper English instead of that phony Yosemite Sam accent your posts would make more sense.

As for sheep, human-speak for "baaa" is "dittos".

Capitalism has freed more people than any other ideology in the world. Free markets only exist when people are free, so the more controls you see in the market directly relates to the relative freedom of the people who participate in those markets. So when you blindly agree with liberals that more regulation of capitalism is needed, what you are really doing is telling them that you don't mind giving up your freedom for some imagined boogey man. The only boogey man here is that which is working tirelessly to restrict our freedom. And it finds allies in those who are looking for revenge against someone who's supposedly done well on the backs of others.... you should look at DC and every State capitol to find those people. Not to us who practice free trade and commerce. We're not theones who want to take away your guns. And most capitalists want people to be more free, not less. Think of who you're siding with before you start throwing mud. I'll gladly stand side by side with a capitalist against the collectivists/socialists.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!! *takes deep breath* HAHAHHAHAHHAHAHHAHAH

You're joking, right? Are you not up on the causes of all the economic problems we're having?

You're right about one thing though. The freedom of the "market" directly effects the freedom of the people, inversely. Total economic freedom is great if you want to be a slave of colossal businesses.
