My name is Dave and I just wanted to thank everyone ahead of time for answering my questions. I read that it is okay for a parent to gift a handgun to a person under 21. I am 20 years of age and understand that private transactions are legal through parent to son. My question is does anyone think its okay for me to open carry?I also read that the law states that a person 18 or older can open carry. My gun that I will be carrying is a Para Night Hawg. Thank you.

Yes...it is okay for a 20 year old to open carry a "gifted" gun in Glenside, PA... Abington Twp, Montgomery County.

When my 18 year old daughter walks the dog, she open carrys my Kel Tec PF-9...Abington LEO's have never bothered her...and I know for a fact that they slow down to check her out...they do it even when I'm with her.
