Well, after about four weeks of discussing the issues with my wife, she finally agreed to go with me as my witness on my first open carry. I knew I married the right woman. (Actually, I had to agree to help wash the dinner dishes.)
So with my route plotted to stay out of school zones, recorder taped to my chest, mic peaking out from under my shirt, UOC flyer in my back pocket, a CZ75B with empty mag in a level II holster on my right and two full mags on my left, a friendly witness at my side (talking my ear off), we went on our evening walk.
It was just over a mile. Walked along one busy street, but mostly residential. Passed by a handful of people. One car slowed way down and stopped as we walked by. I thought that person might be calling in a MWAG, but the walk was uneventful...just what I had hoped for.
Feels good to have exercised my 2nd amendment right! :celebrate
